As one of the UK's largest buyer of Land Rover Defenders, we are always interested in purchasing all makes and models including the newer shape, left hand drive and imported cars. Do you purchase non runners? Yes, we purchase non runners, MOT failures and complete restoration projects. How will I be paid for my Defender? We use the faster payment bank transfer service to make payment directly into your bank account. We will require your account number and sort code at least one hour beforehand to set you up as a recipient with our bank. Payment will then be made upon collection and will show immediately in your account as cleared and drawable funds. However, we appreciate not everyone will be comfortable providing bank details prior to meeting us in person, so we are happy to wait the required 60 minutes when we arrive to collect the Defender. Proof of payments can be provided with every bank transfer. If you do not have internet or telephone banking then the driver will be happy to wait for you to check in person with your bank or to obtain a balance from the nearest cash terminal.   Do you buy Defenders without the V5C Registration Document (Logbook)? In certain cases we will buy cars that do not have the V5 registration document subject to other relevant checks and each purchase would be looked at individually. How do you value my Defender? We use a combination of many years of experience of buying and selling Land Rover Defenders and our current stock requirements to provide an accurate and often market-leading valuation. Please remember to include any information on the valuation form you feel may increase the value of your Defender. All prices quoted are subject to inspection though we are realistic and appreciate we are buying a used vehicle. Be wary of some competitors who give over-inflated valuations, but only on the condition the Defender is sold under as a brokerage agreement. These agreements are often very hard to break free from and we have often purchased Defenders that have been advertised under a brokerage for many months even years. However, we are cash buyers that offer a genuine offer to purchase within a few days of your initial enquiry. Can we deliver our Defender to your premises? The valuation we provide to you is based on free collection from your home or place of storage. Naturally, you are more than welcome to deliver your car to one of our premises. Ask us after you have received our valuation as we may be able to increase our initial offer. What happens if I have missed a significant fault? Our valuation is based on your description that you provide. We will also take into account the wear and tear expected from a Defender of that age. However, if your description does not match the condition of your Defender upon collection, we may have to revalue accordingly. Please remember that we want to buy your vehicle and we will be as fair as possible, but it is important that you are honest with us when describing your vehicle as this will save time and any need to renegotiate terms. Rest assured, we will only ever adjust an offer if we were to find a significant discrepancy between your description and the Defender we have come to collect. If you feel any adjustment on our part is unjustified to the extent you no longer wish to sell your car to us, we will thank you for giving us the opportunity to purchase your Defender and be on our way. Read carefully the small print from similar car buying companies, whereby a fee is often payable if they do not purchase for whatever reason they deem fit. We never have and never will charge any fees regardless whether we proceed or not. What happens if I have outstanding finance on my Defender? Outstanding finance can be easily settled as part of the transaction. After a settlement figure is obtained, we will clear the amount upon collection of your Defender then pay you any balance. If you owe more on your finance than we have agreed to pay for your Defender, you will need to either pay us the balance or clear the finance yourself prior to us collecting your Defender. How quickly can you purchase my Defender? If you are ready to sell your Defender now then contact us and we could have someone with you as early as today. We can even collect on the weekends.
